NOT YOUR AVERAGE REALTOR
I've lived a few different versions of Portland.
And they've taught me that the right home isn't just about where you are. It's about where you are in life.
Hey there, I’m Sally!
Portland first really felt like home to me in my 20s. I was zipping around the city by bike, trying restaurants for the first time, meeting up with friends, and constantly stumbling across something unexpected, a themed roller skating group rolling down the street, a cultural festival I didn't know was happening, live music in a park. I fell in love with it all over again in my 30s, this time through walkability, neighborhood parks, and a grocery store close enough to save dinner when the fridge is embarrassingly empty. As a new mom, those small conveniences shape everyday life in ways I couldn't have appreciated ten years ago.
Being outside is where I feel most like myself, whether that's a trail run or just hot coffee on the front porch and a walk with Runa and Tater Tot through the trails around Reed College. And I'm drawn to the places that make a neighborhood feel like your neighborhood: the coffee shop where they start recognizing you, the farmers market you walk to on Sunday, the grocery store you can duck into when you're missing one ingredient for dinner. Portland has a place for you in every stage of life, and your definition of the "right neighborhood" is allowed to change because your life changes. I've lived that personally, and it's a huge part of how I think about real estate now. We're not just choosing bedrooms and countertops, we're choosing where morning walks happen, where you grab coffee, and what an ordinary Tuesday looks like.
Why I love working with move-up buyers
I understand what it feels like to move because you want your life to work differently. I've bought the starter home while dreaming about what might come next, and becoming a mom has made me experience home through an entirely new lens. Move-up clients aren't simply buying a house, they're orchestrating a transition, equity, timing, a new neighborhood, and usually a very human reason underneath it all. I love putting those pieces together, it's a puzzle, and there's so much joy on the other side when we pull it off.
I know firsthand that moving is a big deal, and that sometimes living your best life really does require making a change. I want to be the sounding board when you're unsure and the strategist thinking a few steps ahead, someone you can ask anything and get an honest answer, even when that answer is "I don't think this is the right house for you." When it's all done, I want you to look back and think that went even better than I imagined, not just because the house worked out, but because the whole thing felt thoughtful and taken care of.
A really good day, according to me
Hot coffee on the front porch. A walk through the trails around Reed College with Runa and Tater Tot. Friends who pop by without needing three weeks' notice. A house that's just big enough, not so big the whole weekend disappears into yard work. I believe your home should give you more life, not just more house, and that's what I want for you too.
Sometimes living your best life means making a change.
Wondering what your next chapter could look like?
You don't need to be ready to move to start thinking about it.
